The Taurasi from Villa Raiano is an elegant, full-bodied and structured red wine aged for 24 months in oak barrels of different capacities. The olfactory profile is full and fruity, with blackberries, cinchona, myrtle and sweet spices. The taste is intense, full and enveloping, supported by good freshness and well-defined tannins.

The Taurasi of Villa Raiano is born in the province of Avellino in the inner part of Campania. The winery was established in 1996 within an old oil mill belonging to the Basso family, located in Frazione Raiano. Brothers Sabino and Simone, along with brother-in-law Paolo, run the business, paying attention to the ecosystem of woods and forests surrounding the vineyards and choosing entirely organic cultivation methods. The daily goal is to pursue the highest possible quality level, enhancing the intrinsic characteristics of the territory.

The vineyards of the Taurasi of Villa Raiano are located in the municipality of Montemarano at an altitude of about 450 meters above sea level. The soils are of volcanic origin and their composition is variable: it ranges from

It pairs perfectly with dishes based on red meat cooked with herbs and roasted, game, and first courses dressed with
