The Tempranillo "Zaranda El Viejo Frances" by Tierra Savia is a soft and complex red wine, produced in the south of Spain, near Seville. Its great peculiarity is that it vinifies and ages in a very large hundred-year-old amphora, before passing for 15 months in American oak barriques. The long aging gives it softness, elegance, and deep notes of cinnamon, tobacco, and licorice that accompany the most classic hints of berries and cherry.
