The Toro Rosso ‘Roble Ecologico 5’ from the Montetoro project by Ramón Ramos represents a soft and enveloping interpretation of the indigenous grape variety Tinta de Toro, a clone of Tempranillo. Montetoro is a fine selection from the Spanish winery Ramón Ramos that brings into the glass the experience of three generations of the Ramos family, who officially founded the estate in Venialbo, in the province of Zamora, in 1963. The foundation on which the project is based is to seek the perfect combination between the established tradition of the Toro territory and the modern innovations of the sector brought by technological progress.

Ramón Ramos Toro Rosso ‘Roble Ecologico 5’ Montetoro is made from pure Tinta de Toro grapes, sourced from 30-50 year old vineyards planted in bush form on sandy and stony soils, very low in organic matter. Once the grapes have reached full ripeness, manual harvesting takes place, accompanied by a careful selection of the bunches. The Toro ‘Roble Ecologico 5’ Rosso Montetoro has a clear ruby red color with garnet reflections. The olfactory panorama evokes suggestions of ripe red fruit and fruit in alcohol, enriched by aromas of sweet spices and hints of wood. Soft taste development, with good body and warmth, from the mature tannin that accompanies the long and intense finish.
