The Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso from the Le Ragose winery is a wine symbolic of a territory and a tradition. It has led to the production of wines known worldwide, such as Amarone, Recioto, and Valpolicella Ripasso. The goal of Valpolicella Ripasso Le Ragose is to enhance and maximize the potential of the Veronese territory in its most typical and truthful expression. A reflection of a tradition and a terroir, the indigenous grapes of the area are the main protagonists of the winery's viticulture, which directs all its agronomic and enological practices towards achieving the highest quality.

The Ripasso Le Ragose is obtained from owned vineyards. The blend is the most classic and typical for its type: Corvina, present at 50%, Corvinone, present at 20%, Rondinella, present at 20%, and 10% of other grape varieties authorized by the regulations. The harvest is done manually and is immediately followed by the destemming and crushing of the bunches. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel tanks by means of indigenous yeasts. In January-February, the Ripasso practice begins: the wine is added with the pomace from the vinification of Amarone. The sugar present in them, as they have undergone a previous drying process, triggers a second fermentation of the Valpolicella, also extracting a greater quantity of substances and enriching the wine with a unique and recognizable personality. At the end of this process, the wine matures first in steel and then in Slavonian oak barrels.

Le Ragose Valpolicella Ripasso is a wine with a very intense ruby red color. Its aroma is dense and deep as the color, the nose is dominated by hints of dark fruit and notes of spices and tobacco. On the palate, it is structured but pleasantly drinkable, presenting a full and soft body, harmonically balanced by a pleasant freshness. An unmissable icon for every wine lover.
