Tenute Rubino's Vermentino 'Salende' is a fresh and pleasant wine, a tribute to the winemaking tradition of Salento. And, in keeping with tradition, it is made using steel to bring out the full fragrance of this aromatic grape variety. The nose releases notes of ripe yellow fruit, banana and white flowers. The palate is smooth and long, with a light almond finish. Ideal with potato croquettes or shellfish dishes
