The Vernaccia di Oristano 'Antico Gregori' by Contini is a warm and enveloping white wine with a robust and rich structure. Coming from Sinis, a peninsula in the central-western part of Sardinia, this Vernaccia is produced only in the best vintages starting from a base of 1979 that is topped up with younger Vernaccias and completed with very old ones from the early decades of the 1900s. The result is excellent, with hints of dried fruit, honey, and pastry cream, ideal to be served alongside preparations with bottarga or cheese with fig jam.
