The Vitovska Solo MM20 by Vodopivec is a Friulian white wine from the harsh limestone lands of the Carso, fermented in terracotta amphorae for 6 months and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for 24. It expresses a unique and intense bouquet, with aromas of broom, brininess, and tropical fruits like mango and pineapple, accompanied by buttery and dried fruit notes. On the palate, it is monumental, with immense mineral salinity and decidedly elegant and territorial, with a long, very long herbaceous aromatic finish.
