Chiara Condello is a young winemaker who has established herself in the Italian wine scene through meticulous craftsmanship, enabling her to create wines of excellent quality that authentically interpret the territory. The estate is located in Fiumana di Predappio, in the Romagna region, an area always famous for its red wines based on Sangiovese, the most widespread and historically cultivated grape in this area. Chiara's love for this grape and her land led her to embark on the adventure of winemaking with the desire to value and make known the character of the hills of Predappio, a historic cradle of the grape for centuries.

The basic idea was to produce wines capable of directly and immediately speaking about the place of production. Wines that could reconnect with the oldest traditions passed down from generation to generation but interpreted in a revolutionary way compared to a trend that has led to a certain standardization of wine taste worldwide. To realize her project, it was clear from the beginning that she needed to return to the centrality of the vineyard, to the symbiosis between vine and soil, trying to preserve and enhance this combination and interfere as little as possible so that Sangiovese could express its full potential.

For her vineyards, Chiara chose a small plot located at the edge of a large wooded area, ensuring rich biodiversity and a cooler climate. The vineyards are at an altitude between 150 and 300 meters above sea level. The soils have ancient marine origins and consist of poor, calcareous-clayey matrix, with tuffaceous and sandstone components, locally known as "spugnone." Draining and capable of retaining water in depth, they allow the vine to face even hot and dry periods without suffering from water stress. The production philosophy embraced the principles of organic farming from the beginning with manual work in the vineyard and cellar practices kept to the bare minimum necessary to allow the grapes to express their potential faithfully to the varietal characteristics and terroir.
