In 1997 thanks to a red wine, the Espan, a cuvée of Zweigelt and St. Laurent aged in oak barrels, the young Manni Nossin, now one of the best “Bianchisti”, producer of white wines, in South Tyrol, managed to draw attention on his wines and convince his father to uproot orchards for grapes.

Since then, the winery has grown, thanks to the quality of this restless boy, who along with others brought up the glory of the Isarco Valley wine.

His six hectares of vineyards are located on the hills near the center of Bressanone, where native grapes grow. They are conducted with the virtuosity that only great vigneron possess, but not under organic management.

Manni, honestly, admit to not being able at this time to take such a difficult step to get to a conversion of the company, but the focus in the various stages of production of its labels are remarkable. Noteworthy is also the attempt, well managed, to modify some aspects of the management of the plants, which has led to a lowering of the alcohol content of wine. Today Manni Nossing is definitely a landmark in the wine of the Isarco Valley, continuing to surprise with twists and consistent quality at the highest level.
