Villa Diamante
Villa Diamante is an interesting Campanian reality located in Montefredane, in the splendid territory of Irpinia. The project was born from the meeting between Diamante and Antoine, who decided not only to unite their lives but also to create an estate to produce wine. The winery was established in 1996. After the premature passing of Antoine, the estate is managed by Serena Gaita with the help of her mother, Diamante. Thanks to expertise and great passion, the company has managed to stand out in a short time, distinguishing itself in the Irpinia landscape with a production of high-quality wines, which very faithfully reflect the characteristics of an area considered by connoisseurs to be on par with a true cru, with absolutely inimitable characteristics.
The area of Montefredane is located at an altitude between 400 and 550 meters above sea level. The climate is continental, with cool temperatures, a constant breeze that keeps the grapes healthy, and the presence of notable temperature excursions between the temperatures of the sunny days and the cold nights. The medium-textured soils, predominantly calcareous-clay in nature, are perfect for viticulture. In these fortunate pedoclimatic conditions, Fiano has adapted excellently and produces grapes of excellent aromatic concentration and crystalline finesse. This ancient white grape variety manages to combine intensity and complexity with extraordinary mineral elegance, making it one of the most interesting and long-lived whites of our peninsula.

The deep knowledge of the area and the desire to create great wines have led to the production of two different labels of Fiano, expressions of two vineyards with different characteristics: "Vigna della Congregazione" and the cru "Clos d'Haut". In the countryside, the rules of organic farming are followed, in full respect of a wild environment and a rich natural biodiversity. In addition to Fiano, the company also produces Taurasi, with selected grapes from year to year in some of the most vocated areas, such as Castelfranci or Montemarano.year in some of the most vocated areas, such as Castelfranci or Montemarano.
