The Vite Colte winery is a cooperative winery in Piedmont that is considered a successful model and an international standard. It was founded in the Langhe area in the 1980s under the name of Terre da Vino, and then renamed Vite Colte in 2016. This was part of a renovation project to assume an increasingly important and prestigious role in the Italian and international wine market. Today it brings together 180 winegrowers and a total of around 300 hectares of vineyards located mainly in the municipality of Barolo, where the head office is located, but also in the rest of the Langhe and Monferrato areas.

The success of Vite Colte is connected to the extraordinary suitability of the territory, the viticultural culture of the contributing members, the research and scientific knowledge that enables accuracy and meticulousness in the cellar. Only a small part of the wine-growing members' properties are destined for this cooperative project, and these are often cultivated organically or following the guidelines of integrated pest management. The strict protocols followed by the members have one single objective: quality. Vinification and ageing take place in a modern, technological and spectacular production facility that houses works of art and is complemented by a permanent exhibition of great touristic and cultural interest.

The Vite Colte winery produces only Piedmontese wines, demonstrating a versatile ability to offer excellent interpretations of the most prestigious names in the Langhe and Monferrato area: Barbera d'Asti, Barbera d'Alba, Nizza, Roero and Moscato d'Asti, as well as, of course, the legendary Barolo and Barbaresco. The names of the wines, often inspired by the works of Cesare Pavese, demonstrate the desire to promote and spread the culture of the Piedmont region throughout the world. This is a fundamental contribution to Italian wine and culture, and a success that has always drawn its strength from competence, reliability, quality and, therefore, from constantly increasing prestige.
