Cascina Faletta's Barbera del Monferrato Superiore 'Pignola' is one of the winery's historic Barberas. It ferments and matures in large oak vats and this allows the development of great structure and a very direct character. Dark notes such as violet and blueberry jam emerge on the nose, with elegant hints of vanilla tobacco on the finish. The sip is full, round, with a soft tannic texture and accompanying
