The Crémant de Bourgogne Brut from Maison Louis Loron is an elegant Metodo Classico characterized by a pleasant fruity freshness. It is a young and lively sparkling wine, with a typically convivial character. A perfect bottle to enjoy in company when you want to drink something less demanding and complex than Champagne. Its immediate pleasantness makes it ideal to drink as an aperitif, to accompany appetizers and seafood dishes with simple cooking methods and delicate flavors.
The Brut Crémant de Bourgogne is produced in a historic estate in the region. Since 1932, Maison Louis Loron has been producing Metodo Classico and today represents one of the reference brands of the denomination. The estate is located near Fleurie, one of the most renowned and famous crus in the southern Burgundy area. The wine is the result of a balanced blend of the three classic grape varieties of the area: Pinot Noir (75%), which provides strength and structure, Gamay (20%) which helps enrich the bouquet with beautiful fruity notes, and Chardonnay (5%), synonymous with refined elegance and freshness. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, slightly ahead of full ripeness to preserve greater freshness. After a rigorous selection, they are sent for vinification, which takes place separately for each grape variety. At the end of fermentation, which occurs at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, the base wines rest for a few months before the final blend is created. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico. The wine rests on the lees for 15 months before proceeding to disgorgement.
The Crémant de Bourgogne Brut from Maison Louis Loron is the most classic and identity version of the range of labels from this important French sparkling wine house. It presents itself with a seductive intense yellow color with bright golden reflections. The perlage is delicate and fine, continuous and persistent. The aromatic profile is dominated by fragrant citrus notes, lemon zest, aromas of white-fleshed fruit, green apple, peach, pear, floral nuances, hints of dried fruit, and bread crust. The sip is dynamic and smooth, with a crunchy and rich fruit and a fresh finish with good taste persistence.
