Cantina dei Produttori di Manduria's Fiano "Zin" is a fresh and intense white wine produced in Puglia with the Fiano grape variety and a small percentage of Minutolo, a semi-aromatic variety of the territory, which has been rediscovered and enhanced over the past few years for its peculiar characteristics. Vinification only in steel enhances the citrus freshness of Fiano, its elegant, floral and fruity profile, made softer and broader by the aromatic notes of Minutolo. The sip thus turns out to be harmonious, pleasantly fruity and balanced.
The wine "Zin" also allows us to get to know the bianchista soul of Puglia, a land especially famous for great reds from Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes. The Cantina Produttori di Manduria, in its more than 900 hectares of vineyards, also grows white grapes historically found in the Tavoliere, particularly Fiano, which arrived from neighboring Campania, and Minutolo, a slightly aromatic vine native to Puglia. The age of the vines is about 20 years and The most common training system is espalier. The presence of many plots located in various areas allows the best grapes to be chosen each year and always produces quality wines. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C, and the wine matures for several months in steel before being bottled, so as to preserve all the aromatic characteristics of the grapes, without the interference of wood.
Produttori di Manduria's "Zin" white, thanks to the presence of Minutolo, gives us a version of Fiano with particular territorial connotations, making it a true wine with Apulian character. In the glass it is a brilliant straw yellow with greenish hues. The nose opens on delicate scents of orange blossom, hawthorn and white flowers, aromas of cedar, white fruit, smooth tropical hints of passion fruit and lychee, and nuances of Mediterranean maquis herbs. The sip is taut and vibrantly fresh, stretching toward more harmonious, rich and ample fruit aromas and then closing on savory notes.
