The Marsannay "Clos du Roy" is an elegant and refined Pinot Noir from the Cote d'Or, aged for several months in used wooden barrels. Broad and velvety, it expresses aromas of red-fleshed fruit, cherry, rhubarb, spices, and earthy notes. On the palate, it is silky, flavorful, and complex, with silky tannins and generous freshness.
