Domaine Georges Noëllat's Nuits-Saint-Georges is the perfect expression of one of the most vocated terroirs ever for the production of the great reds of Burgundy. The hamlet of Nuits-Saint-Georges is located in the northern part of the Côte d'Or and includes 41 Climats classified as Premier Cru in this territory. Thanks to a cool climate and fine soils, Pinot Noir expresses itself on the highest level, combining elegance, aromatic richness and longevity. Georges Noëllat's wine is the synthesis of this magnificent area and allows one to get to know the authentic face of the terroir, before delving into the facets of each individual Premier Cru.

Nuits-Saint-Georges wine is produced by a historic family domaine, which has been dedicated to the cultivation of vines in the wonderful land of the Côte d'Or for several generations. Since 2010, Georges Noëllat has been at the helm of the estate, and within a few years, he has been able to put himself on the map with excellent production, so much so that he is currently regarded as one of the best young vignerons in Burgundy. His success is based on an excellent fleet of vineyards, with parcels in some of the most famous Premier and Grand Crus in the territory, and on maniacal care of the vineyard, managed with the sole objective of obtaining healthy and perfectly ripe grapes. Winemaking is carried out in the traditional way, with long macerations on the skins and the use of even unstemmed grapes. The wines mature in French oak barrels for about 18 months before completing aging in the bottle.

The Nuits-Saint-Georges red made by Domaine Georges Noëllat comes from an extraordinary terroir, characterized by the presence of limestone-clay marls, which constitute the soils of choice for Pinot Noir. In the glass it is ruby red in color with slight garnet reflections. The nose offers a bouquet marked by intense aromas of small berries, violet nuances, spicy and woody hints. Complex and elegant, it has a ripe tannic texture, a rich aromatic facet, giving a harmonious and balanced sip. The finish is fresh and of remarkable flavor persistence.
