PINOT BLANC 'SANCT VALENTIN' ST MICHAEL EPPAN 2020 DESCRIPTION

The Pinot Blanc Sanct Valentin of the cellar of San Michele Appiano is the expression of the most important grape variety of the wine produced by this winery and this bottle is one of its most precious jewels. The Pinot Blanc, a symbol of Trentino Alto Adige region, is a vine appreciated for its elegant character and its structure nuanced complexity buds that gift to drink. The cellar of San Michele Appiano is an example of quality cooperative cellar, known throughout Italy for its excellent production; now it has about three hundred and seventy members who cultivate nearly four hectares of vineyards. It is a historical brand of Trentino, its foundation dates from the early twentieth century, as evidenced by the beautiful Art Nouveau building of the cellar. The latter is now flanked by a modern wing, built at the behest of director Hans Terzer; with a functional and futuristic design the winery won the best wine cellar in Italy in 2000. The Pinot Blanc Sanct Valentin combines the sophistication of grapes that composes the undisputed mastery of the San Michele Appiano cellar. A white wine that intrigues with its straw reflections, conquers the eyes but even more fascinated the nose with fine fruity smell. A parade of perfume with the sweet white peach, apricot, lilac persuasive and dried fruit lead us to a fresh mineral note. These sensory promises are kept even at the time of the tasting, when the Pinot Blanc Sanct Valentin, reveals its full character. It shows itself as full-bodied and rich, without ever losing its innate elegance, especially when, in the end gives a very long and intense time fruity, vibrant and simply endless.
