'Futura' Giulio & Gaia Vinyataires 2023

Futura by Giulio & Gaia Vinyataires is a fresh and smooth red wine made from a blend of Spanish and international grape varieties. The bottle is dedicated to Lucio Dalla, as indicated by both the name of the wine, which takes its title from one of his most famous songs, and the glasses depicted on the label. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sumoll and Garnacha are fermented together, while the Xarel-lo, which comes from older vines, is vinified separately and blended with the rest of the blend before ageing in French oak barrels. The nose reveals notes of red and black fruits with aromas of black pepper and light vanilla notes on the finish. On the palate, it is full-bodied but fresh, with fine tannins and good persistence.
