Soave "Singan" is a white wine with a fresh, bright and fruity profile, aged for a few months in steel tanks. It expresses aromas of medlar, citrus, hawthorn and herbaceous nuances, with pleasant mineral sensations. On the palate it has a smooth and clean texture, characterized by a lively freshness and a pleasant savoury trail
The Adalia winery owned by Marinella Camerani presents Soave "Singan", a dry white wine with a distinct mineral tone. Its remarkable accessibility and gracefulness make Soave 'Singan' an excellent introduction to this famous denomination in the Verona area that encompasses some of the most refined and appreciated white wines in all of Italy. 'Singan' represents a word from the ancient Cimbrian language that translates as 'to sing' and, not by chance, a treble clef is depicted on the label.
Adalia - Camerani "Singan" Soave consists of a blend of Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave and Chardonnay grapes from a 1.6-hectare vineyard on Monte Tombole in the Val di Mezzane. The vines, rooted on medium-textured soils rich in limestone, are located at approximately 250 metres above sea level. Once ripe, the grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and then softly crushed. The must obtained is fermented in steel tanks using only indigenous yeasts, with a few hours of contact between the must and the skins. Afterwards, the wine is elevated again in stainless steel tanks for a few months before bottling.
To the eye, the Soave 'Singan' from Marinella Camerani's Adalia winery reveals a luminous straw yellow hue. On the nose, aromas of quince, plum, medlar, hawthorn, citrus and fresh almond follow one another, enriched by delicate herbaceous hints. In the mouth it is light and refreshing, with great agility and a marked mineral character. It is a dynamic expression that is perfect for drinking in youth, but can nevertheless stand up to further discreet bottle ageing. The recommendation is to enjoy Soave 'Singan' with hors d'oeuvres or delicate seafood dishes.
