The Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore Valmori is the most intense expression of the local reds, after Amarone. It is born in parallel with the king of the region: the base wine, already produced to be intense and extractive, rests on the intense and dried pomace of Amarone. The result is a wine that combines aromas of fresh fruit with more evolved hints such as dried plum and spices, while on the palate it combines the freshness of the Veneto blend with the warmth typical of higher alcohol wines. Ideal with stewed meat, such as the typical horse meat stew of Valpolicella
