'Rimmel' by Giulio & Gaia Vinyataires is a light, aromatic white wine designed for everyday drinking. Like many of their labels, the name is inspired by Italian songwriting, in this case paying homage to De Gregori's song 'Rimmel'. Made from a blend of Macabeo and Moscato grapes, these are fermented separately and blended before ageing, which takes place in steel. The nose is intense thanks to the aromatic expressiveness of Moscato, with hints of peach, herbs and citrus zest. The palate is energetic and taut, with excellent freshness. Perfect with the typical Catalan salad of salt cod with tomato and olives
