The Malbec from Osado is a full-bodied and intense red wine produced in Mendoza, the homeland of Argentine red wines. Matured for at least 10 months in oak barrels, it displays a mature, full-bodied, and substantial character, rich in aromas of small berries, sweet spices, vanilla, and light smoky notes.

The Malbec from the Osado winery is an intense and rich red, born in the splendid territory of Mendoza. It is precisely in Argentina that this grape variety, originally from the southwest of France and mainly cultivated in Cahors, has found a second homeland for centuries. The suitable soils, the warm climate, and the thermal excursions favored by altitude create an ideal habitat for Malbec, which expresses itself at the highest qualitative levels, enhancing its best characteristics. The aging in wood softens its youthful edges and highlights an aromatic spectrum of good complexity, with pleasant fruity and spicy notes.

The red Malbec from the Osado winery is a beautiful expression of the wines from the Uco Valley, one of the most prestigious areas in Argentina for viticulture and particularly for the cultivation of Malbec. The vines have an average age of 15-20 years and are cultivated at an altitude of about 1,000 meters above sea level, with a sunny climate, but always fresh and ventilated, due to the proximity of the high peaks of the imposing Andean chain. The soils are predominantly composed of sand and gravel, poor and very draining. The grapes undergo a cold maceration and then proceed to fermentation with a skin maceration lasting about 10 days. The wine matures in medium-toasted French oak barrels for at least ten months and finishes aging with a few months in the bottle before being released for sale.

The Malbec from the Osado winery is the classic Argentine red, now become a true symbol of the country. It is a wine that is winning many admirers even among European enthusiasts, curious to rediscover the qualities of this ancient French grape variety. It presents a dark red color with violet reflections. The olfactory profile especially recalls blackberry and small dark berry fruits, ripe red plums, soft spices, and hints of violet. On the palate, it has a good structure, with an evolved tannic texture well integrated into the body of the wine. The aromas are intense, broad, and the finish harmonious and balanced. Ideal to pair with a meat grill or a classic Argentine asado.Argentine.
