SANGIOVESE DI ROMAGNA SUPERIORE 'PRIMO SEGNO' VILLA VENTI 2019 DESCRIPTION

Villa Venti's Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore "Primo Segno" is a wine imbued with determination, commitment and perseverance. Characteristics that animate the work of the two partners who own the winery. The goal of making recognizable the mineral background of the soils that have been deemed most suitable for vines and found in this "Primo Segno".

The bush-trained Sangiovese vines are rooted on a hilly soil type, with the presence of red sands and clays, at an altitude of 200 meters. Organic cultivation is the result of the sincerity that has moved the two producing partners to try to make the environment in which their children live better. Work in the winery is as least interventionist as possible to ensure the perfect integrity of the fruit. Spontaneous fermentation takes place in steel vats, where the grapes are conveyed and the wine then continues its aging period for a few months.

Sangiovese di Romagna Superiore "Primo Segno" is bright ruby red in color. The nose is intense and notes reminiscent of small red fruits and cherries, sensations of herbs and violets are noticeable. This Sangiovese plays a lot on elegance and drinkable characteristics, very pleasant, especially in company. The palate is fresh, straight, crisp, with vibrant tannins and a long finish with some mineral notes. In a word: dynamic!

When to open
To enjoy an artisanal wine at its best, we recommend you to let it 'breathe' at least 15-30 minutes before serving
When to drink
Wine good to drink now, but that can have a beautiful evolution after resting for a while in your cellar
Glass
Medium open goblet
Perfect for young and medium bodied red wines which don't require excessive oxygenation to open. The opening, slightly tighter than the body of the glass, favors the concentration of aromas towards the nose, enhancing the perception of aromas and limiting the dispersion
Longevity
You can easily leave it in your cellar for 3-4 years
