The Savigny-Lès-Beaune Rouge Grands Liards from Domaine Patrick Javillier is a very harmonious, balanced pure Pinot Noir characterized by a remarkable expressive freshness, typical of this noble terroir of the Côte de Beaune, located between the ridge of Montagne de Corton and the vineyard of Beaune. Famous since the Middle Ages for the quality of its wines, Savigny-Lès-Beaune hosts within its municipal territory 22 Climats classified as Premier Cru, with a clear prevalence of Pinot Noir vines, which in this area produces wines of great elegance, thanks to well-sunlit exposures and very suited soils. An excellent label, reserved for great Burgundy enthusiasts.

The Grands Liards Savigny-Lès-Beaune Rouge is born in an estate located in Meursault, in the heart of the magnificent vineyard of Côte d’Or. Domaine Patrick Javillier is a typical family-run business that has managed a splendid eleven-hectare estate since the 1940s, which can count on vines cultivated in the terroirs of: Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Savigny-les-Beaune, and Aloxe-Corton, with many classified Premier and Grand Cru parcels. The vineyard area is located at an altitude ranging from 250 to 400 meters above sea level and the grapes for the cuvée come from a parcel exposed to full south. The Pinot Noir vines take root in calcareous-clay soils, rich in pebbles and gravel, which make them very draining. At the end of the harvest, the grapes are completely destemmed and after a cold maceration, they are fermented in cement tanks with skin maceration, accompanied by délestage, pump-overs, and punch-downs. The wine matures in French oak barrels for about 12 months and completes its aging in the bottle.

The Pinot Noir Savigny-Lès-Beaune Rouge Grands Liards from Domaine Patrick Javillier is a red that plays all its charm on the notes of refined elegance, lightness, and rarefied complexity. Of bright ruby red color, it seduces with a bouquet characterized by aromas of small red berries, currants, raspberries, wild strawberries, sour cherries, delicate spicy hints, and slight floral nuances of violet and
