The Chianti Classico by Castello di Monsanto comes from a selection of grapes that come directly from those vineyards can offer bunches with adequate capacity for aging in barrels. Vinified in stainless steel for about 18 days, it is then left for at least 12 months in oak casks of 50 hectoliters and it is here that assumes its characteristic structure and its great expressiveness.
It takes shape from Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino grown in the beautiful area where the company is located right in the town of Monsanto. Vineyards located between 260 and 310 meters above sea level, in the heart of Val d'Elsa, with the marvelous towers of San Gimignano.
