Friulano "Vigna del Rolat" by Raccaro is a white wine made from grapes of a Cru 50 years old vineyard, which is named after wine. Iodate and sea nose, white fruit, flowers and field herbs. Intense, round and personality on the palate, soft, sapid and mineral. Wine made with old style artisanal methods
Raccaro's Friulano "Vigna del Rolat" is an exciting white wine from the Friulian Collio, one of the most faithful and true expressions of this grape variety, as well as of its land of origin. It is made from historic vines from the most suitable subzone, Cru Rolat, cultivated with traditional methods, respecting nature and according to Friulian tradition, thus giving rise to a wine that is difficult to forget.
The excellent "Rolat vineyard" grows on soil locally called "ponka," composed mainly of white clay and marl, which gives it pleasant mineral notes. The light bora, exposure to shy sun and the right distance from the sea have created a unique microclimate for the native Friulian to germinate. The production process starts with manual harvesting, continues with soft pressing in a lung press and ends with aging in stainless steel. Raccaro does not make use of wooden barrels, thus giving more space to the varietal and primary notes of the grape variety.
Raccaro's "Vigna del Rolat" Friulano is a generous wine, deep straw yellow, juicy and rich. The nose foils vegetal notes and hints of both young and shelled fruit, creating an intriguing melodic plot. The palate is calm and elegant, enters the mouth with good cleanliness and has excellent persistence. The subtlety of flavor, delicate mineral note and refreshing freshness give rise to a lively and vibrant harmony.
