Bodegas Frontonio's Macabeo "Microcosmico" is produced near Zaragoza, Spain. The three founders Francisco Latasa, Fernando Mora and Morio López shared a desire to produce wines with a quality that would distinguish them from all others and make them unforgettable: the project started in an old winery with a selection of old vines that would otherwise have been lost. Since 2008, wines have been produced following the traditions of the art of winemaking. In 2016, "El Jardin de Las Iguales" was purchased, with a 200-year-old estate with an underground quarry to facilitate and make each stage of winemaking special.

The grapes that make the Bodegas Frontonio's Macabeo "Microcosmico" grow in vineyards at around 530 metres above sea level, rooted in soils mainly composed of limestone, responsibles for wines with a strong character. The plants are 65 years old on average and guarantee the quality that the winery is seeking, and cover approximately 10 hectares. The grapes are picked by hand and the harvest takes place in the first few days of September; the bunches are destemmed in the cellar and undergo a 20-hour maceration without sulphur dioxide. Alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts then takes place in cement vats for 15 days and the wine is aged underground, in cement, for 6 months.

The colour of Bodegas Frontonio's Macabeo "Microcosmico" is a light yellow with greenish hues; the nose releases aromas of jasmine, grapes and the finish is rich in mineral notes. To the palate it is well-structured, elegant and pervasive with an accommodating final freshness that invites the sip. In pairing it is recommended with steamed fish dishes, shellfish and crustaceans, it is also ideal to pair with fresh cheese. Excellent for summer aperitifs at sunset by the sea, to enjoy an authentic and genuine flavour, the result of constant and careful work.
