The prestigious Maison champenoise Krug presents Champagne Grande Cuvée 'Edition 170 Echoes' Brut, a fine sparkling wine with a melodic elegance. For some time this famous sparkling wine house has been aware of the existence of a strong link between hearing and taste, between music and wine. An evocative bond capable of captivating the mind and senses, giving rise to an experiential adventure. The marriage of Krug and sound offers unlimited creative potential resulting in the limited edition 'Echoes,' packaged in a coffret of rare beauty and refinement engraved with undulating pentagrams that recall the sound diffusion of an echo. In addition, inside the package is a QR code that allows for an evocative musical experience.

Champagne Krug Grand Cuvée '170ème Édition Echoes' Brut Champagne consists of a final blend of Pinot Noir (51 percent), Chardonnay (38 percent) and Meunier (11 percent). It is a blend of as many as 195 wines selected from 12 different vintages. The youngest, which forms the base, is from 2014 while the oldest dates back to 1998. In total, 45% of the cuvée comes from reserve wines. The different sparkling wine bases are vinified and matured between steel tanks and oak barrels and, once the blending is done, the precious wine is placed in the bottle for refermentation according to the Champenoise Method, with 7 years of aging on the lees. Finally, after dégogerment and Brut dosage, the Champagne is ready to be released on the market.

The Krug Grand Cuvée 'Edition 170 Echoes' Champagne Brut is golden yellow in color with a fine and persistent perlage. The bouquet is an explosion of aromas ranging from ripe fruit to marzipan and hints of candied citrus, flowers, honey, hazelnut and gingerbread. Taste development of extraordinary elegance, structure and richness, with an energizing freshness that is accompanied by fine and subtle effervescence. Interminable finish with savory and dried fruit sensations.
