Nebbiolo "Marghe" from the Damilano winery isLanghe's most representative red wine. It is a pure Nebbiolo, which, thanks to delicate vinification and aging in large barrels, preserves the most fruity and fragrant profile of the noble Piedmontese grape variety. It is the ideal wine to taste when looking for a bottle that expresses all the elegance and finesse of the terroir, without the imposing and rich structure of a Barolo. Particularly ductile in table pairings, Nebbiolo is a red wine truly appreciated for its delicate floral and fruity aromas, slightly spicy notes and pleasant immediacy and smoothness of drinking.

"Marghe" Damilano wine is a Nebbiolo that comes from the grapes of several vineyards of the estate, cultivated on the fine limestone-clay soils of the hilly Langhe area. It is in this area that Nebbiolo expresses itself on the highest levels of quality, thanks to beautiful sunny exposures and a climate that is always cool and ventilated. The considerable temperature swings during the ripening phase give grapes with rich and intense aromas. The choice of a delicate winemaking, with a light maceration process, allows to obtain a red wine that focuses mainly on freshness and elegance of aromas, with a subtle profile and a youthful trait of great varietal fidelity to the grape variety.

"Marghe" Nebbiolo produced by Damilano is the fruit of the vinification of Nebbiolo grapes, processed with the intention of creating a pleasant and easy-drinking red. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks with classic red vinification and maceration on the skins. Before bottling, the wine matures for 12 months in large barrels. In the glass it is ruby red in color with light garnet reflections. The nose opens on delicate floral aromas and slight spicy notes, aromas of small red berries and hints of herbs. The palate is medium-bodied, with a fine tannic texture, a juicy mouthfeel and a savory, fresh finish with good flavor persistence.
