Within the Riviera Ligure di Ponente area comes Laura Aschero's Vermentino, a bottle of appreciable typicity that makes balance and pleasantness its strong points. It was 1975 when Laura Aschero decided to recover the old family vineyards to find employment for her husband, a doctor nearing retirement, initially with the idea of selling the grapes to local producers. However, after a few years, the couple decided to make their own wine, relying on the advice of Gianpaolo Ramò, still the estate's winemaker today. We have since reached the third generation, represented by Bianca, Laura's granddaughter and daughter of owner Marco Rizzo.

Laura Aschero's Vermentino is a 100% Vermentino from vines grown on hillsides that enjoy the influence of sea breezes and strong temperature swings between day and night in the summertime, ideal conditions for harvesting healthy grapes endowed with great aromatic assets. In the winery, traditional white vinification is carried out, limiting the contact between the must and marc to a few hours. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, the same type of wine containers where the mass remains to mature for several months before bottling.

Laura Aschero Vermentino Riviera Ligure di Ponente has a pale straw yellow colour. Fresh and subtle nose in its scents of apricot, pineapple and wildflowers, supported by hints of aromatic herbs such as thyme and rosemary. Soft, balanced and refreshing on the palate, endowed with a great personality and lasting persistence. A Ligurian white wine that can accompany a wide range of dishes, especially those with fish, shellfish or molluscs.
