The "Kikè" white wine is one of Cantine Fina's most famous and representative labels, born from the great idea of interpreting the potential of the western Sicilian territory to the full through the use of international grape varieties. In fact, it is an aromatic and Mediterranean interpretation of Gewürztraminer, enriched with a small percentage of Sauvignon, which has become the standard-bearer of the Marsala territory and the Natural Reserve of the Stagnone Islands, where the winery is based.
Cantine Fina's "Kikè" is born from an extraordinarily suitable and unique territory, characterised by sea breezes rich in saltiness and intense sun exposure. Here, the Gewürztraminer vines seem to have acclimatised at their best, giving rise to fruit marked by the typical primary aromas of the grape variety, with marine and hints of 'garrigue'. The production process, carried out using modern and environmentally sustainable technologies, with vinification and ageing in stainless steel, aims at the richest, most exuberant and complete expression of the typical aromatic bouquet that has made Traminer famous throughout the world.
Fascinating, extrovert and tropical, the "Kikè" Cantine Fina wine enchants the senses from the very first approach, involving the taster in a rich, pleasant and immediate tasting experience. The bright, tending to golden colour with which it is presented in the glass evokes a warm, sun-drenched scenario in which the grapes have been able to ripen to the fullest, expressing themselves fully and without reticence. The bouquet is rich, lush and bursting, dominated by fruity and tropical nuances and hints of sweet, ripe citrus fruits, orange blossom and aromatic herbs. The influence of the Marsala terroir is made evident by a pleasant, subtle saline and almost briny counterpoint. The taste is consistent with the olfactory profile, revealing softness, depth, richness, savouriness and intense fruity aromas. In this way, the hieratic face of the Gewürztraminer has taken on the connotations of Sicily and flaunted a summery, Mediterranean expression, wearing the colours of the sea, the sun and the salt pans.
