SOAVE CLASSICO 'VIGNETI DI FOSCARINO' INAMA 2020 DESCRIPTION

Inama's Soave Classico "Vigneti di Foscarino" directly expresses what are the main characteristics and peculiarities of the union between Garganega and the volcanic soil of Soave. The old rows, now 40 years old, draw nourishment from a lava basalt soil, capable of giving the wine an enviable intensity and minerality. Interpretation of Soave that, as admitted by the winery itself, looks to history and follows ancient production values from "minimalist enology."

"Vigneti di Foscarino" Soave Classico Inama's history begins with the harvest, which is done exclusively by hand on a selection of about 10 hectares. Once the grapes are transferred to the winery, they are destemmed and crushed. Next comes a pellicular maceration for 8-12 hours followed by cold decanting for 12 -24 hours. Fermentation with batonnage every 4 weeks for 6 months awaits inside old barriques. The process ends by aging the wine in steel tanks for 6 months.

Inama Soave Classico "Vigneti di Foscarino" reveals its intense yellow to the glass, a trait defining a decisive wine with an interesting structure. Values that are confirmed on the nose where scents of chamomile, elderflower and iris combine with the sweetness and body of wildflower honey. On the palate the delicate floral notes reappear, leaving our taste buds with a sweet almond finish. A wine that needs to be paired with delicate and fluffy flavors, but can also run on its own if tasted after a hearty dinner for a moment of relax. This Soave Classico thus allows us to enjoy the flavors of a territory that since ancient Roman times has always laid down the law in terms of wine and good drinking habits.
