This Barbaresco wine "Sorì Tildin" is made by Gaja winery from pure grapes of the red grape variety par excellence of Piedmont, Nebbiolo. The grapes are cultivated with great care and respect, selecting only the best ones to ensure the best possible results. Once harvested and vinified, they face a double aging process, carried out first for 12 months in barrique, and then, for another year in large barrels. At the end of these total two years of maturation, the wine is ready to be bottled and put on the market.
The "Sorì Tildin" is a Barbaresco that reveals itself to the eye with a ruby red color, tending to garnet in the rim. The nose is dominated by concentrated and enveloping sensations, which, from a world of balsamic and spicy notes, heads towards a set of fruity aromas, very well presented. On the palate it is full-bodied and round, with a sip marked by a pleasant freshness and finely integrated tannins; it closes with a truly persistent finish. A great wine, which always ranks, vintage after vintage, at the top of the main Italian and international guides, making Gaja one of the most appreciated and sought-after wineries in the world.
