"L'Avvocata" by Coppo is a complex and juicy Barbera d'Asti that has distinguished itself over the years for its high quality and extraordinary value for money. The name, curious and original, is a dedication from the Coppo family to the first owner of the vineyards: a female lawyer. Her stern, authoritative, and rigid nature earned her the nickname later printed on the label, even though it clashes with the jovial and carefree nature of the wine.

Barbera D'Asti's "L'Avvocata" comes from vineyards in the south of Asti, around the Canelli area, the homeland of Moscato D'Asti and Italian sparkling wine. When talking about the Coppo family, we refer to one of the oldest wineries in Italy, founded in 1892, with about 125 years of uninterrupted wine production. The house style has always been focused on favouring finesse over power, with wines that stand out for their fragrance and freshness without sacrificing complexity. The grapes that make up this wine come from vineyards between 200 and 250 meters above sea level on clayey-calcareous marls. The bunches are hand-selected to choose only the best, and after vinification, the wine matures only in steel to preserve all its aromatic integrity.

The red "L'Avvocata" by Coppo has a lively ruby-red colour with violet reflections. From the first whiff, it impresses with the clarity of the fruit, ranging from cherry to raspberry. The sip flows smoothly, exemplifying the ability to combine freshness and tannin in such a harmonious way. It doesn't shy away from a long finish, making extreme drinkability its best feature.
