Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Riserva "Salmariano" represents the productive apex of the Marotti Campi winery. We are talking about a rich and complex product both on the nose and palate, which also faces aging in wood to increase its depth. "Salmariano" is a Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Riserva that comes from those grapes that Marotti Campi grows in the vineyards surrounding the town of Morro d'Alba. We are about 180 meters above sea level, in a terroir characterized by the presence of clay where the vines are trained with the guyot system. Manual harvesting is late and begins in mid-October; in the winery the bunches are destemmed and the grapes are softly pressed. The resulting must ferments in steel tanks at a temperature of 15°C, macerating briefly on the skins. Aging takes place for 12 months on fine lees in steel, and the 20% of the mass matures in barriques.

This Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi "Salmariano" reveals itself to the eye with a bright straw yellow color, characterized by some golden reflections in the rim. The olfactory spectrum is rich, with fruity scents that are pleasantly enhanced by mineral notes and light spicy touches.
