32 - Via dei Birrai

32 – Via dei Birrai is a Venetian brewery that has played a significant role in the consolidation of the craft sector. Founded in Pederobba, a small locality in the province of Treviso, in June 2006, it was born from the idea of three friends, Fabiano Toffoli (master brewer), Loreno Michielin (sales director), and Alessandro Zii (researcher and microbiologist), who decided to combine their skills and expertise to bring their dream to life, a micro-craft brewery focused on the values of sustainability and manual labor. We are in a historic wine production area, not far from the lush hills of Prosecco, on the right bank of the famous Piave River and at the foot of Monte Grappa.

Since the beginning, the three partners have focused their attention on quality and research, using carefully selected raw materials from around Europe. The malt comes from Belgium, England, and Germany, while the hops are cultivated by some friends in Belgium. However, in recent years, the brewery 32 has decided to commit to direct hop production, through a project that involves the farmers of Monfumo, a hilly area near the brewery. Furthermore, the brewery works in an eco-sustainable perspective, which in recent years has led to significant achievements, such as a reduction of over 40% in water consumption and the use of energy from renewable sources to reduce CO2 emissions by 25%.

The beers of 32 are not standardized products, but the result of a production process carried out entirely in the brewery's facilities and premises that do not involve filtration or thermal treatments, such as pasteurization, and use the technique of bottle refermentation, thus resulting in a possible deposit at the bottom. With all different styles, characterized by intense aromas and a pleasantly drinkable sip, they are unique craft beers with great personality.
