Arcari Danesi
The Arcari Danesi winery is an original and innovative reality in Franciacorta. It was founded in 2006 through the collaboration between Giovanni Arcari and Nico Danesi, who for over 10 years dreamed of bringing to life a common project that could seal an ancient personal friendship and a shared vision. Always committed to the wine sector, Giovanni as an expert in the commercial area and Nico as a winemaker, decided to combine their skills and create their own estate. A choice based on the desire to interpret the Franciacorta territory in a new way, connected to the land and realized in the utmost respect for the environment. The underlying idea has always been to create labels capable of expressing the terroir in a direct and authentic way.
The area chosen for the winery is also unusual and distinctive. Giovanni and Nico decided to create their estate near Coccaglio, in the highest area of Monte Orfano, an isolated mountain relief in the plain, which constitutes the southern boundary of the Franciacorta area. It is a terroir completely different from the classic area of Franciacorta, featuring hills stand out from the rest of the production for a mature profile, yet always supported by a lively freshness.
