Bergstrom
Bergstrom is a winery founded by the Swedish couple, John and Karen Bergstrom, who moved to Oregon in the '90s. After a childhood spent in the pristine Swedish nature, nurturing their love for the vine, the young couple decided to fulfill their dream and start a new life as winemakers. Thus, in 1999, they began their own production on 12 hectares in the renowned Willamette Valley area, considered one of the largest regions in the state for the production of Pinot Noir, comparable only to their French counterparts. In fact, in 1980, Oregon's Pinot Noir entered the pantheon of great red wines, reaching the podium at a world tasting and ranking among two great Burgundy excellences. From that day, Oregon wine took on an increasingly important role, becoming a star outside its land of choice, the Cote d'Or.
What most distinguishes the Willamette Valley, where the Bergstrom winery is located, is its highly suitable land. We are on the same parallel as Burgundy, where the French.
