Bonavita
The wines of the Bonavita winery boldly and faithfully express the essence of the territory of Faro, interpreted in the traditional red version and in a surprising rosé guise.
at an altitude between 250 and 300 meters above sea level and surrounded by centuries-old oak and chestnut woods, the Scarfone family cultivates the local varieties Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, and Nocera. The plants are up to 80 years old and are cultivated according to the principles of certified organic farming, with a view to protecting the health of the environment and biodiversity. Following the manual harvest, the grapes are immediately transferred to the winery, where fermentations occur spontaneously in oak barrels or steel tanks, without the use of additives and oenological aids, with prolonged periods of skin maceration.
