Cantina Menegola

The Menegola winery, was founded only recently, in 2006, by brothers Menegola, now follow the various stages of cultivation and production with love and dedication. Since their first vintage this small winery craft has come under the spotlight of the national wine critics, with the undisputed quality of its wines produced in one of the roughest territory which is Valtellina. A winery capable of convincing for the seriousness and humility that dedicated to the promotion of the terroir of the Valtellina and the identity of local wine. The vineyards owned by Walter Menegola was able to gradually add some micro-plots, managing to bring together approximately to 2 hectares, more than rare situation in Valtellina. This is because Walter believes that the production of great wines is only made in the vineyard: "only by preserving the state of health of the vineyard and then the fruit itself can, after years of resting in the cellar, enjoy a wine capable of transmitting those values and emotions often unexplainable that only nature is able to give us". A new reality, but can surprise from the very first glimpse.
