Cascina del Colle
Cascina del Colle, established in 1997, has become one of the most recognized strongholds of organic farming in the whole region of Abruzzo. A family passion, now led by Nazario d’Onofrio along with his wife and children, who have the ambition to care for and communicate their land well beyond the regional borders. This care and precision is evident in the founder's desire to manually number each bottle from the bottom before releasing it to the market. A certainly original and impractical idea, but one that once again emphasizes the meticulous and precise imprint that Cascina del Colle wishes to leave in each of its creations.
Cascina del Colle is located in Villamagna, in the Chieti hinterland, in a land unique in its kind, where the rigidity of the mountain meets the saltiness of the sea, where the climate is mild, characterized by cold winters and hot summers: from this meeting arise wines of great expression. Currently, the winery has just over 18 hectares of vineyards, situated at about 300 meters of certified on the label with the organic seal.
