We are in the prestigious lands of Barolo, characterized by a wonderful landscape of gentle hills, lined with orderly rows of Nebbiolo. The Fontana family has been cultivating these lands for six generations and produces wines with a typically territorial profile, which express very well the noblest tradition of the Langhe.
Mario Fontana, now at the helm of the company, carries on the family tradition with a range of labels with a classic profile, using the indigenous grapes of the area: Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, and Barbera. The winery is located in one of the most suitable areas of the Barolo denomination. The estate covers a total of 5 hectares, divided into different parcels. The vineyards are situated in some of the most beautiful areasmost beautiful areas of the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, in particular: Valletti vineyard in the Mariondino cru, Villero vineyard in the Villero cru, Pozzo vineyard and the municipality of La Morra Gallinotto vineyard in the Giachini cru and Castello vineyard in Sinio.
