Ceraudo

The Ceraudo winery is the result of an entire life dedicated with expertise and passion to agriculture. The winery is located in the Ionian Calabria and is immersed in the countryside surrounding Strongoli Marina, a few steps from the sea, among vineyards, centuries-old olive groves, and citrus trees. It was founded in 1973 by Roberto Ceraudo, with the purchase of land that belonged to the Campitello and Pignatello princes and later to the Giunti barons and the farmhouse dating back to 1600. Today, in managing the winery, Roberto relies on the valuable help of his children Giuseppe, Susy, and Caterina. Thanks to them, Ceraudo has become a much more articulated reality, where in addition to the production of quality wine, oil, and citrus fruits, we find a renowned restaurant and a beautiful agriturismo.

The vineyard extends over 20 hectares and is managed in certified organic farming: the vines are cultivated without the use of chemical products and protected from pest attacks through the use of weather stations and sexual pheromone traps. Photovoltaic panels are also used to make the winery energetically self-sufficient.  

The varieties cultivated are mostly indigenous: Greco Bianco, Mantonico, Pecorella, Magliocco, and Gaglioppo. But we also find Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Every stage of processing is carried out with care and constant pursuit of quality: for this reason, Ceraudo uses modern technologies and relies on the refined advice of winemaker Fabrizio Ciuffoli. The wines obtained from Ceraudo are thus rich in aromas, persistent and fresh, manage to interpret the territory impeccably and offer great emotions.
