Collavini

The Collavini winery represents an important piece of history in Friuli's wine scene: founded back in 1896 by Eugenio, it is now a well-known and established reality, led by Manlio Collavini along with his sons Giovanni, Luigi, and Eugenio. Manlio was the architect of the great modernization of this family winery starting in 1966, when he decided to move the headquarters to a 16th-century castle in Corno di Rosazzo and began to establish himself in the Friulian wine landscape with a reliable production linked to the territory.

The Collavini family has never owned its own vineyards but has always based its history and success on a consolidated network of selected suppliers. The relationship of trust and the spirit of collaboration are the two fundamental principles of the winery, which for decades has never ceased to invest in technology, technical assistance, and services for the suppliers, to put them in the ideal conditions to produce high-quality grapes. This close and virtuous relationship between the winemakers and the parent company allows the Collavini family to focus on every detail of the winemaking phase.winemaking and offering a wide range of labels.

Collavini thus manages to meet every need: alongside a large and consistent production, niche and unconventional wines are also produced, sought after by enthusiasts. The Collio Bianco Broy has now become an essential reference point for all lovers of Collio, not to mention the important sparkling wine production, from which Il Grigio is born: a charmat sparkling wine created for the first time in 1971 that has written an important page in Friulian wine history.
