Dalle Ore

The Venetian winery Dalle Ore, located in the Lessinia area, is an example of a sustainable wine-growing reality family-run. The origins of the estate date back to 1903, when Girolamo Dalle Ore, ancestor of the current owners, purchased a property in Trissino, in the province of Vicenza, driven by love for his land and viticulture. From the very beginning, the winery has distinguished itself by its ability to combine the most innovative techniques with the millennia-old wine-growing tradition of the area, and today at the helm are Marco and his daughter Benedetta Dalle Ore, respectively the fourth and fifth generations of winemakers in the family.

The Dalle Ore estate spans 15 hectares of rows dedicated to local grape varieties such as Durella and Garganega and, above all, to international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Riesling Renano. The plants, surrounded by meadows and woods, rest on volcanic soils rich in mineral elements, at altitudes of about 300 meters above sea level with south and southeast exposures. The agronomic management embraced by the Dalle Ore family ensures maximum respect for the ecosystem, and for this reason, the winery applies the principles of certified organic farming and biodynamics. The enological approach is also genuine and involves minimizing interventions, with fermentations occurring spontaneously thanks only to the intervention of indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks or in 40-hectoliter oak barrels, depending on the wine in question. Similarly, the wine container adopted for the subsequent maturation phase varies according to the label, with the masses resting either in steel or in oak barrels.

The Dalle Ore family produces sparkling wines, white, red, and orange wines, managing to convey their connection to the territory in the bottle. Common traits across the entire production are remarkable freshness and tasting dynamism, as well as the spontaneous character of each wine.
