Domaine Bouthenet
Domaine Marc Bouthenet is located in Burgundy at Cheilly-les-Maranges, in the southern area of the Côte de Beaune, near the border with the Côte Chalonnaise. It is a Domaine spread across the 3 communes of Maranges and Santenay, managed by a family that has been dedicated to viticulture for over four generations. Today, Marc is at the helm of the estate, having returned to France to continue the family tradition after gaining winemaking experience in numerous wineries in important wine regions around the world. The Domaine has grown over time through the acquisition of particularly valuable plots and today covers 20 hectares.
The vineyards are the precious treasure of the Domaine and are managed with great attention to the environment, following the principles of "lutte raisonnée". Marc is aware that only from healthy and genuine grapes can great wines be born, in line with the centuries-old tradition of excellence of a region as famous worldwide as Burgundy. The rows between the vines are grassed to promote biodiversity qualitative.
