En Stoemelings
The En Stoemelings brewery was founded in 2014 in the historic Marollen district, located in the southwestern part of Brussels, from the meeting of Denys Van Elewyc and Samuel Languy, great friends since the age of 12. Denys had long nurtured a great passion for the world of beer and, during his studies in archaeology, often experimented with home brewing. Samuel, on the other hand, fell in love with beer after becoming a game designer in India. Their fun and playful spirit, combined with brilliance and strong observational skills, has marked their production and success from the very beginning. Today, the proposed labels have carved out an important place among the crowded landscape of Belgian craft beers because, in addition to their undisputed quality, they humorously and wittily reflect the personalities of the two young men through funny names and playful images. En Stoemelings in Belgian dialect means "in secret" or "hidden under the table", a message that further highlights their dynamic and cheeky spirit.

En Stoemelings is a very small brewery that is now located in Laeken, a neighborhood situated in the north of Brussels. It looks almost like a sort of garage with a slightly more evolved setup than a homebrewer, but despite this, the beers seem to be produced with a unique and detailed care, a product of the highest Belgian brewing school. The choice of raw materials, such as malt, wheat, hops, and spices, combined with the expertise and experience of Denys and Sam, has allowed for the production of original and qualitatively unique craft beers.
The En Stoemelings beers have a strong connection to brewing traditions and are produced in all different styles. Despite being a young reality, their bottles travel the world and have become a symbol and an icon in the new landscape of the Belgian capital.
