Fantinel
The Fantinel winery is a giant of Italian wine because, in addition to its large size of over 300 hectares of vineyards and significant production that also extends to international markets, it represents a symbol and a flag of Friuli's wine culture. The story begins with Mario Paron, a lover of food and wine, known as one of the most important restaurateurs in the region, who in 1969 decided to purchase his first vineyards in Collio, to inaugurate his own production and thus mark the beginning of the Fantinel adventure. A few years passed and the project became a success, acquiring new lands in the Grave area and transforming the winery into one of the most representative and prestigious realities of the territory, a true ambassador of Friulian winemaking art. Today, the third generation, represented by Marco, Stefano, and Mariaelena, leads the large estate, continuing to tread, with a touch of innovation, that path made of passion and tradition forged in the past by Mario.
eco-sustainable approach and with great respect for the cycles of nature within a very suggestive and unique landscape framework, extending between the areas of Grave, Collio, and Prosecco. The lands are unique and enjoy a very favorable microclimate that allows the indigenous vines to produce clusters rich in flavors and aromas. Thanks to innovation, it has been possible to invest in state-of-the-art technological solutions both in the vineyard, through careful clonal research conducted in the laboratory and new irrigation systems, and in the winery with modern temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and carefully selected fine wooden barrels. The sparkling production, obtained through the Charmat-Martinotti Method, receives great recognition in Italy and abroad and ranks among the most appreciated models for its great quality and high precision. Additionally, there is a second (in terms of quantity and not importance) production of still wines in Collio that aims to enhance the most typical varieties of the place and falls under the collection
