Loch Lomond Brewery
The Loch Lomond Brewery was founded in 2011 in Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, from the idea of transforming the dream of brewing craft beer into a family business. Fiona MacEachern, a former police officer, and her husband Euan, respectively Managing Director and Master Brewer, energetically and collaboratively run their brewery, supported by the valuable contribution of George, Sales Manager, and Charlie, brewer. A special mention goes to the addition of a new professional figure within the team: Conrad, the Delivery Guy!
Loch Lomond is the largest lake in Great Britain, in southern Scotland, and just a short distance from its picturesque shores stands the brewery that bears the same name. Since 2011, the beer line has significantly expanded, drawing inspiration from the most diverse and original brewing styles, while always staying true to a basic premise: to transport the drinker's mind to the wonderful landscape of Loch Lomond. Each label represents a corner of this earthly paradise, marked by bright colors and artistic glimpses that have the ability to transport you to the shores of the lake.
Brewing for Loch Lomond does not mean following the trends of the moment and siding with the winning taste, being hoppy, being strong or bitter; for Fiona and Euan, it is important to create beverages with a deeply refreshing vein, of high quality and in accordance with the tradition of each style: high fermentation beers with a touch of originality! In a short time, Loch Lomond's identity has managed to convince even the most passionate, receiving prestigious awards such as “Best Beer in Scotland” in 2017 from CAMRA and “Supreme Cask of England” in 2016 from SIBA.
