Molino Mauro
When talking about the Mauro Molino winery, one is truly led to think of the concept, too often praised and reiterated, of tradition meeting innovation. Mauro is still the living spirit of this historic reality: important decisions still pass through him, and despite the advancing age, the call of the land is still too strong to be ignored. He is the one who inherited the first plots of land from his father, he is the one who fell in love with Nebbiolo, with its thousand faces and its superhuman power. Today it is time to hand over the helm to his children, Matteo and Martina, with the awareness that only by believing in their personal inclinations and investing in their permanence in the company, the past of the winery would be transformed into the present.
Matteo has followed in his father's footsteps, enrolling in the Enological School of Alba and dedicating himself entirely to the family vineyards, with a more modern outlook, in line with the principles of sustainability and environmental respect that the current wine world considers fundamental and indispensable for tomorrow.of viticulture. Even Martina, the youngest in the family, graduated from the same school and joined the family business, personally handling the communication and commercial aspects. It's impossible not to respond positively to the call of the winery, when it is located in such a suggestive and captivating territory as the Langhe.
The Mauro Molino winery is located in the Annunziata district, in the renowned cru of La Morra, where the hills are gentle, orderly, and perfectly groomed, where the microclimate is varied and multifaceted, and the soils are rich in blue marls, which give the wines olfactory finesse. It is especially the elegant aromasand changing ones, that will amaze you with their intensity and complexity: the most representative image of the value of the La Morra crus.
